The commission advises the dean's office on the distribution of funds which are allocated for the quality improvement.

Distribution and Use of the Quality Improvement Funds

The use of the quality improvement funds is based on the guidelines of the rector's office 222 which is introduced as per the study quality regulation 22 and tackles the distribution and use of the quality improvement funds. Section 4 of the guidelines regulates faculty's use of the funds. In principal, the funds which are allocated to the Faculty of Arts are exclusively for measures which aim to improve the condition of teaching and study. After the university basic order § 33, the Quality Improvement Commission is hence established at the Faculty of Arts.

The commission advises the dean's office on the distribution of funds which are allocated for the quality improvement.

The dean's office applies part of faculty's quality improvement funds to finance the main objectives. Measures which inerest the faculty and are designed to improve the condition of teaching and study will be financed. An application form, in which all scheduled measures and relevant costs can be specified, is avaviliable for all memebers. The commission will advise individuals on their application for the quality improvement funds. Please submit your application to the dean's office according to the respective deadline as below:

Measures which are scheduled in summer semester: 15. January

Measure which are scheduled in winter semester or in the following year: 15. June
