BASIS Access for Staff Members: Description of Functions in BASIS. Access Setup for Lecturers and Examiners.

Please Note

The access of a person as "lecturer" on BASIS can be authorized by the responsible person of each department, i.e. program manager. The access authorization for other positions must first be applied for by the program manager and eventually approved by the dean's office of the Faculty of Arts. Regarding your function please always first clarify with the program management of your institute.

What is a Uni-ID?

The Uni-ID is an account for multiple functions at the University of Bonn. Usually, this account is automatically established by the HRZ. Certain functions, i.e. email service, can be immediately accessed. However,  for access to other functions, i.e. BASIS, Plone CMS, authorization is required.

What is an examiner-ID?

The examiner-ID is an account for the BASIS system. This account can be established for the person who has registered as examiner at the examination board of the Faculty of Arts. The access authorization for the position as examiner must be first applied for by the program manager and eventually approved by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Arts.
