Focus Areas

Focus areas are organizational units that focus on a specific subject area or a particular field of research.

Efficiently utilizing and pooling academic expertise and Faculty resources

There are currently four focus areas within the Faculty. A focus area can have various tasks and functions, including:

  • Research: Conducting research projects and studies in a specific subject area
  • Teaching: Offering courses, seminars, and workshops for students
  • Consulting: Supporting and advising students and researchers in specific subject areas
  • Administration: Organizing and coordinating projects, events, and other activities within the focus area

Focus areas help to efficiently utilize and pool the academic expertise and resources of the Faculty. They promote interdisciplinary collaboration and enable the provision of specialized research and teaching.
