Regarding the use of AI applications like ChatGPT and similar tools, please note that they are considered unauthorized aids. Their use in the creation of written assignments, especially essays and thesis papers, is not permitted!
Aids during examinations are only allowed if explicitly approved by the examiners. If a candidate attempts to influence the outcome of the examination by using unauthorized aids, the respective examination will be assessed as "insufficient." This determination will be made by the respective examiner and then documented and forwarded to the examination committee (§ 26 paragraph 1 of the Bachelor's and Master's Examination Regulations 2018, "Deception and Violation of Regulations").
