Examination Regulations according to degree programme models
The Examination Regulations for the degree programmes of the Faculty of Arts can be found on the university's main website. There you will find both the current Examination Regulations in their original version, including any subsequent amendments, as well as older versions. For students, the Examination Eegulations in use at the time of commencement of their studies apply, including their respective amendment regulations.
Official announcements
Furthermore, the Examination Regulations and their respective amendment regulations are officially published on the website of the University and State Library (ULB) in the section ‘Electronic Publications from the Cologne Administrative District’.
Reading version
In order to make the regulations easier to read, we provide the unofficial reading versions of the currently valid Examination Regulations here. The subsequent amendments have been incorporated into these versions:
- Unofficial reading version of the Bachelor's and Master's Examination Regulations from 2018 (in the version of the 5th amendment regulations from 2024)
- Unofficial reading version of the Psychology Bachelor's and Master's Examination Regulations 2020 (in the version of the 2nd amendment regulations of 2024)
- Unofficial reading version of the Examination Regulations for the Master's degree programmes ‘Dependency and Slavery Studies’ and ‘Slavery Studies’ from 2020 (in the version of the 3rd amendment regulations from 2024)

These versions are for information purposes only! Only the regulations published in the official announcements of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn are legally binding.
English translation
An English translation is currently only available for the unofficial version of the Examination Regulations for the Master's degree programmes ‘Dependency and Slavery Studies’ and ‘Slavery Studies’. You can find them on the central page of the university mentioned above.
