Guiding Principle
At the Faculty of Arts, excellent teaching is at the core of our identity. We recognize innovative, dedicated, and inspiring teaching formats – and the individuals behind them.
Each year, the evaluation project groups and the student councils of the individual institutes honor instructors who stand out for their exceptional didactic quality, innovative teaching formats, or contributions to curriculum development.
A nomination for the Teaching Award is in itself a special form of recognition: it shows that students and colleagues perceive a teacher or a teaching concept as outstanding – whether in terms of content delivery, student support, or structural teaching development.
