So einfach – so schwierig. Denn: Was können wir als Mitglieder der Philosophischen Fakultät zur Debatte beitragen? Wie bringen wir das Thema in die Fakultät, sodass es für möglichst viele anschlussfähig ist?

Die Aufgabe der Nachhaltigkeits-AG besteht darin, genau diese Fragen zu diskutieren, abgeleitet vom universitären Leitbild Ideen zu entwickeln und die Mitglieder unserer Fakultät nicht nur zu informieren, sondern in diesen Prozess einzubinden, mitzunehmen und zu überzeugen. Hierbei liegt unser Hauptanliegen darin, die geistes- und kulturwissenschaftliche Aspekte in den Blick zu nehmen. Die Vielfalt der Fächer an der Philosophischen Fakultät bringt eine Vielfalt von Ideen, Methoden und Perspektiven mit sich, durch die wir die Chance haben, voneinander und miteinander zu lernen und so auch einen Mehrwert für die gesamte Universität zu generieren.

Die Nachhaltigkeits-AG ist eine offene Einladung an alle Personen der Philosophischen Fakultät, die sich für das Thema Nachhaltigkeit interessieren. Sie richtet sich nach den Grundsätzen der Wertschätzung und Gleichberechtigung aller beteiligten Personen. Jede Stimme wird gleichermaßen respektiert und gehört, unabhängig vom individuellen Status innerhalb oder außerhalb der Universität.

The Sustainability Working Group of the Faculty of Arts has the task of contributing to the implementation of the university's sustainability strategy at faculty level.

So simple - so difficult. After all, what can we as members of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities contribute to the debate? How do we bring the topic into the faculty so that it is accessible to as many people as possible?
The task of the Sustainability Working Group is to discuss precisely these questions, to develop ideas based on the university's mission statement and not only to inform the members of our faculty, but also to involve them in this process, take them along and convince them. Our main concern here is to focus on the humanities and cultural studies aspects. The diversity of subjects at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities brings with it a variety of ideas, methods and perspectives, which gives us the opportunity to learn from and with each other and thus generate added value for the entire university.

The Sustainability Working Group is an open invitation to all members of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities who are interested in the topic of sustainability. It is based on the principles of appreciation and equal rights for all those involved. Every voice is equally respected and heard, regardless of individual status within or outside the university.

We want to use our next meeting to discuss the Strategy Paper on Sustainability of the University of Bonn. How can we implement these strategies in the Faculty of Arts - What can be our contribution?

Additionally, we can discuss whether and how we want to contribute to this year's "Tag der Nachhaltigkeit," which will take place in May.
