At the University of Bonn, there are numerous contact points and service units, such as the Human Resources Development and other institutions that are responsible for providing career advice and support for early-career researchers. The services are tailored to the needs of different target groups.

Grants from the Faculty of Arts

Early-career researchers and members of the academic mid-level faculty who are employed as academic staff at the Faculty of Arts can apply for grants for the organization of conferences, for printing costs of publications, and for the financing of conference trips in Germany, Europe, and non-European countries. There are two application deadlines per year. As funds are limited, applicants should check whether other funding opportunities are available before submitting their application.
